Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, services, content, tools and features made available by Live Longer Better Pte. Ltd., operating as DementiaCare Connect (“DementiaCare Connect”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing or using our website or any services made available by us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use our website or services.

Where our services are provided under a separate pilot agreement, enterprise agreement, institutional agreement, partnership agreement, data processing agreement, service order, consent form or other written agreement, that agreement will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency with these Terms.

1. About DementiaCare Connect and JUMI

DementiaCare Connect is a Singapore-based platform developing services and support tools relating to dementia caregiving, including:

(a) educational content, guides, resources and practical support materials;

(b) enquiry, contact, demo, waitlist, pilot, partnership or booking request forms;

(c) JUMI or other digital or AI-supported tools, where made available by us;

(d) caregiver support sessions, care navigation sessions, interviews, pilots, surveys or feedback exercises, where separately made available; and

(e) coordination, continuity, care-navigation or support tools for families, care providers, clinics, senior living operators, home care providers, nursing providers, employers, social organisations or other partners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, DementiaCare Connect provides a platform, coordination layer, content, digital tools and related support. We do not provide emergency medical services, emergency response, medical diagnosis or medical treatment.

JUMI is intended to support non-emergency dementia caregiving by helping users organise context, understand behaviour changes, consider non-pharmacological strategies, and identify possible next steps or support options. JUMI is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, treatment tool, emergency service, crisis hotline or substitute for professional clinical judgement, unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement and supported by the necessary regulatory position.

2. Important Disclaimers

2.1 Not for emergencies

DementiaCare Connect and JUMI are not intended for emergencies.

If you believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, if urgent medical attention is required, if someone is missing or at risk of serious harm, or if there is an immediate threat to safety, call the emergency services number in your location or seek immediate in-person assistance. In Singapore, this may include calling 995 for emergency ambulance or 999 for police assistance, depending on the situation.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, JUMI is not monitored by humans in real time. We do not guarantee that messages submitted through JUMI, website forms, email or other general contact channels will be reviewed immediately.

2.2 No medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency care

Our website, resources, services and AI-supported tools are intended to provide education, care navigation, practical support and non-emergency guidance only.

They are not a substitute for:

(a) in-person assessment;

(b) medical diagnosis;

(c) treatment by a licensed medical doctor or other appropriate healthcare professional;

(d) emergency care;

(e) professional clinical judgement; or

(f) your organisation’s own care protocols, escalation pathways, documentation, regulatory obligations or professional duties.

2.3 Information you provide matters

Any guidance, support, summary or recommendation provided through our services depends on the completeness and accuracy of the information you choose to provide. Incomplete, inaccurate, misleading or outdated information may affect the relevance, safety or usefulness of any response, support output, summary or guidance.

2.4 No guaranteed outcome

Dementia caregiving situations are complex and may change over time. We do not guarantee that any content, response, summary, recommendation, caregiver support session, care navigation session, professional input, care-navigation suggestion or JUMI output will resolve a situation, prevent distress, improve quality of life, reduce care burden, prevent escalation, avoid medical attention or achieve any particular outcome.

3. Eligibility

You may use our website and services only if:

(a) you are at least 18 years old; or

(b) if you are under 18, you are using the website or services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We may restrict certain services, pilots, care navigation sessions, demos or tools to users who meet additional eligibility criteria.

4. Use on Behalf of Another Person

If you use our services on behalf of another person, including a person living with dementia or suspected dementia, family member, care recipient, resident, client, employee, patient, domestic helper or caregiver, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to do so and, where required, have obtained any necessary consent or authorisation.

If the person lacks capacity to consent, you should only use our services or provide personal data about that person where you are legally authorised, reasonably responsible for their care, or otherwise permitted to do so under applicable law.

You must not provide personal data, care information, health-related information, photographs, recordings or other information about another individual unless you have proper authority to do so.

5. Your Use of Our Website and Services

You may use our website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not, and must not permit or assist any other person to:

(a) use our website or services in any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, harassing, exploitative, unsafe or harmful manner;

(b) upload, submit or transmit information that is false, misleading, infringing, obscene, malicious, unauthorised or otherwise objectionable;

(c) submit personal data, confidential information, patient information, care records or health-related information about another individual without proper authority;

(d) use JUMI or our services as an emergency service, crisis hotline, medical diagnostic tool, treatment tool or substitute for urgent in-person care;

(e) rely on JUMI or our services as the sole source of care instructions, clinical decision-making, staff supervision, incident response, safeguarding or escalation;

(f) interfere with or disrupt the operation, security or integrity of our website, systems or services;

(g) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website, systems, accounts, prompts, models, tools, infrastructure or data;

(h) copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works from any part of our website, services, tools, software, prompts, workflows, content or outputs except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent;

(i) use automated means, bots, scripts, crawlers, scrapers or similar methods to access or interact with our website or services in an unauthorised manner;

(j) use our website or services to develop, train or benchmark a competing product or service without our prior written consent;

(k) use our website or services in a way that could damage our reputation, interfere with other users’ access or experience, or create legal, operational, security, privacy or safety risk; or

(l) remove, obscure or alter any proprietary notices, disclaimers or safety notices.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to our website or services if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, used our website or services improperly, created risk, or failed to comply with applicable law or programme requirements.

6. JUMI and AI-Supported Tools

Where JUMI or any other AI-supported tool is made available by us, you acknowledge and agree that:

(a) responses may be generated using automated systems based on the information provided by you, other users, care teams, participating organisations or connected systems, where applicable;

(b) JUMI may create, update and use care-profile notes, memory records, prior-chat summaries, episode summaries, behaviour patterns, safety flags, handover context and other continuity records to provide more relevant support across interactions;

(c) JUMI is intended for non-emergency dementia caregiving support, education, care navigation and practical guidance only;

(d) JUMI does not replace clinical judgement, emergency services, in-person assessment, medical diagnosis, medical treatment, professional care planning, safeguarding obligations or organisational care protocols;

(e) outputs may not always be complete, accurate, current, appropriate, safe or suitable for your particular circumstances;

(f) JUMI may misunderstand, omit or fail to identify relevant information, including urgent risk, medical deterioration, safeguarding issues or changes in circumstances;

(g) you remain responsible for exercising judgement and seeking appropriate professional, in-person or emergency help where needed; and

(h) we may update, suspend, restrict or discontinue JUMI or any AI-supported tool at any time.

You should review JUMI outputs carefully before acting on them. If anything appears unsafe, inappropriate, incomplete or inconsistent with professional advice or your organisation’s protocol, do not follow it and seek appropriate professional guidance.

7. Care Profiles, Memory and Continuity Records

JUMI and related services may generate or maintain care-profile, memory and continuity records to help avoid repeated re-telling of the same information and to provide more context-aware support.

Such records may include information about routines, communication preferences, behaviour changes, triggers, calming cues, prior episodes, what has or has not worked previously, safety concerns, care context, household arrangements, helper involvement, support needs, family names, caregiver names, helper names, relationship roles and other relevant context.

Mobile numbers, email addresses or other contact identifiers may be used to verify users, manage access, link conversations and support continuity.

You acknowledge that:

(a) memory and continuity records may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate;

(b) you should correct us where information is wrong or no longer current;

(c) memory records are not a substitute for formal medical records, clinical notes, care plans, incident reports, medication records or regulatory documentation;

(d) institutional and professional users remain responsible for maintaining their own records and complying with their own legal, professional and organisational obligations; and

(e) deletion or withdrawal of data may affect JUMI’s ability to provide personalised or continuity-based support.

8. Caregiver Support, Care Navigation and Professional Services

Where separately made available, we may facilitate caregiver support sessions, care navigation sessions, demos, interviews, pilot activities or introductions to independent allied health, advisory, counselling, coaching, care navigation or caregiver support professionals. These sessions may take place through video-conferencing or similar tools and may be recorded, transcribed, reviewed or analysed where notified and consented to or otherwise permitted by law.

You acknowledge and agree that:

(a) such services may be subject to separate terms, consent forms, recording notices, governance requirements, eligibility criteria, fees or professional obligations;

(b) session requests may be subject to the relevant professional’s availability and acceptance;

(c) unless expressly stated otherwise, the professional providing the session is responsible for the professional services, advice or support they provide to you;

(d) DementiaCare Connect may facilitate booking, scheduling, communications, payment, documentation, recording, transcription, analysis or related support, but does not guarantee the availability, suitability, professional advice, outcome or quality of any session;

(e) remote caregiver support, care navigation or digital support may not be appropriate in every situation, and an in-person consultation, medical review or other support may be more appropriate depending on the circumstances; and

(f) if a professional recommends that you seek in-person medical attention, emergency assistance, safeguarding support or another form of support, you should do so promptly.

Nothing in these Terms authorises you to use our services in a way that would require licensing, registration, supervision or regulatory approval unless such requirements have been separately addressed in writing.

9. Institutional, Professional and Enterprise Users

If you access or use our services as, or on behalf of, a clinic, care provider, senior living operator, home care provider, nursing provider, employer, social service organisation, professional, institution or enterprise customer, you acknowledge and agree that:

(a) you are responsible for ensuring that your use of our services complies with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, licensing requirements, organisational policies and consent requirements;

(b) you remain responsible for your own professional judgement, care decisions, documentation, escalation, safeguarding and regulatory obligations;

(c) our services and outputs are supportive and informational unless expressly agreed otherwise in a separate written agreement;

(d) you must ensure that only authorised personnel access personal data, care information, JUMI outputs or continuity records;

(e) you must not upload, submit or disclose personal data, patient data, resident data, staff data or confidential information unless you have authority to do so;

(f) you are responsible for reviewing JUMI outputs before using them in care delivery, staff handovers, family communications, internal records or operational workflows; and

(g) pilot, enterprise, institutional or partnership arrangements may be subject to additional written terms.

10. Content and Resources

Content made available on our website or through our services, including articles, guides, checklists, educational materials, recommendations, links, templates, resource listings and JUMI outputs, is provided for general informational and support purposes only.

We do not guarantee that any content is accurate, complete, current, suitable for your circumstances or free from error.

External resources or third-party services mentioned on our website or through our services are provided for convenience only and do not constitute endorsement unless expressly stated.

11. Bookings, Fees and Cancellations

Where any caregiver support session, care navigation session, pilot, subscription, professional service or paid service is offered through DementiaCare Connect:

(a) applicable fees, if any, will be communicated at or before booking, subscription or purchase;

(b) a booking, subscription or purchase is only confirmed when accepted or confirmed through the relevant booking flow, written agreement, payment process or communication channel;

(c) cancellation, rescheduling, refund, no-show, pilot participation or subscription rules may apply where communicated at the time of booking or otherwise notified to you;

(d) we may change fees or service details from time to time before a booking, subscription or purchase is confirmed; and

(e) unless expressly stated otherwise, fees paid for completed sessions or services are non-refundable.

If a third-party payment processor is used, your payment may also be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

12. Privacy and Personal Data

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Where you provide us with personal data, including personal data relating to another individual, you agree that such data may be collected, used, disclosed and otherwise processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You must not submit personal data or confidential information that you are not authorised to provide.

13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to our website, branding, trade names, logos, text, graphics, design, software, source code, workflows, prompts, databases, compilations, tools, templates, content, know-how, methodologies, JUMI-related systems and other materials made available by us are owned by or licensed to DementiaCare Connect unless otherwise stated.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You are granted only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use our website and services for their intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, extract, commercialise or create derivative works from our website, services, JUMI, tools, prompts, workflows, content or materials except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.

14. User Content, Feedback and Outputs

You remain responsible for information, content, data, messages, prompts, feedback, files, materials or personal data that you submit to us or through our services (“User Content”).

You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, consents and authority necessary to submit User Content and to permit us to process it in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, use, process, reproduce, adapt, display, transmit and create summaries or outputs from User Content for the purposes of providing, operating, securing, evaluating and improving our services, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Where you provide suggestions, ideas, comments or feedback about our website, services, JUMI, workflows, features or business, you agree that we may use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you, provided that we do not disclose your personal data except in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use outputs generated for you by our services for your own personal caregiving, internal support, care coordination or internal organisational purposes, unless otherwise restricted by a separate agreement. You must not represent any output as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency guidance or professional advice unless provided by an appropriately qualified professional and permitted by applicable law.

AI-generated outputs may not be unique and similar outputs may be generated for other users.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website or services may include links to third-party websites, tools, booking systems, communications tools, payment processors, resource providers, professionals or platforms.

We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, content, privacy practices, security, accuracy, terms or performance of any third-party service.

Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party, except to the extent we expressly state otherwise.

16. Beta, Pilot and Limited-Release Services

Some services, including JUMI features, pilots, demos, prototypes, test environments, beta tools or limited-release services, may be experimental, incomplete, under development or available only to selected users or partners.

You acknowledge that such services may change, produce errors, be unavailable, be discontinued, or operate differently from future versions.

We may collect feedback, usage information and safety observations from beta, pilot or limited-release services to evaluate and improve them, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any applicable pilot terms.

17. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

(a) our website, content, services, JUMI and tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis;

(b) we do not warrant that our website or services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, complete, suitable, accurate or free from viruses or other harmful components;

(f) we do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, conduct, advice or outcome of any third-party professional, resource, service or platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DementiaCare Connect and its officers, employees, contractors, consultants, licensors, professional advisers and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, data, anticipated savings, reputation or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, our website or services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our website or services shall not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you directly to us for the specific paid service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

If you have not paid us for the relevant service, our total aggregate liability shall be limited to SGD 100 to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Your continued use of our website or services after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

Where a separate written agreement applies, changes to these Terms will not override that agreement unless expressly provided in that agreement.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

If any dispute arises out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties shall first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through amicable discussions.

If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days after one party notifies the other party of the dispute in writing, the dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

24. General

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights or obligations in connection with a restructuring, merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, transfer of business or by operation of law.
